Is cannabis delivery Seven Trees legal?
Yes. Licensed cannabis delivery is permitted under California state law when the business follows applicable state and local requirements.
A neighborhood or city may restrict retail storefronts without banning licensed delivery. You do not need a walk-in dispensary near Seven Trees to order legally. A licensed delivery business may bring eligible products to an approved private address.
Delivery must go to a private residence or place of lodging. Drivers cannot deliver to:
- Sidewalks or street corners
- Public parks or parking lots
- Schools or government buildings
- Businesses, offices, or retail locations
- Transit stops or other public spaces
- Informal meetups away from the delivery address
You must be physically present at the eligible address. The driver cannot leave cannabis unattended or hand the order to a neighbor, friend, coworker, front desk employee, or another third party.

Cannabis delivery Seven Trees requires a vehicle handoff
California delivery drivers must remain in the vehicle. They cannot walk the order to your front door, enter an apartment building, or leave cannabis unattended.
When the driver arrives:
- Watch for the arrival call or text.
- Go outside to the approved residential curbside meeting point.
- Approach the vehicle’s front passenger-side window.
- Bring your valid physical ID.
- Bring the required payment.
- Allow the driver to verify your identity and eligibility.
- Receive the sealed order directly through the window.
The driver cannot complete the handoff if you do not have the required ID or payment. The name and identity information must match the order. Do not enter the vehicle, and do not ask the driver to leave the order at the door.
This process keeps deliveries fast, secure, and discreet. In a close-knit residential neighborhood like Seven Trees, a quiet vehicle handoff also helps protect your privacy.
